Ryan Seacrest is facing a big year. Besides being booked to take over Casey Kasem’s longtime throne as host of radio’s “American Top 40,” he’s being counted on to pull a double whammy at Fox: bolstering the prime-time lineup with “American Idol” while making inroads in the network’s daytime schedule with “On-Air With Ryan Seacrest.”
