Actors George Eads and Jorja Fox are back on the “CSI” beat. After the actors were fired over an apparent pay dispute, CBS announced Friday that Mr. Eads and Ms. Fox are rejoining the show as series regulars.

The show shut down production last week but is expected to begin shooting again Wednesday. Two of “CSI’s” executive producers, Jerry Bruckheimer and Carol Mendolsohn, issued a statement welcoming the actors back.

“Jorja and George have been an important part of ‘CSI’s’ past success and we are thrilled that they will once again be part of the show’s future,” Mr. Bruckheimer and Ms. Mendelsohn said. “We look forward to getting back to work next week on another great season.”
