Two soap opera veterans are about to give a boost to NBC Universal’s daytime reality series “Starting Over.” The distributor has tapped former soap opera actress-turned-head writer Millee Taggart-Ratcliffe as executive producer and longtime daytime actress/director/producer Francesca James as consulting producer. Meanwhile, co-executive producer Jim Johnston and supervising producers Linda Midgett and Joan O’Connor will all return to the show.



Ms. Taggart-Ratcliffe appeared on both “One Life to Live” and “Search for Tomorrow” during a 15-year career. She then moved to writing, with credits that include “Dynasty” and “Santa Barbara,” and created the series “The Thorns.”



Ms. James acted on both “All My Children” and “One Life to Live” and later went on to producing and directing positions on “All My Children” and “Days of Our Lives,” among others.
