Two former Universal executives are heading to Telepictures as the company beefs up its development and programming staff. Former Executive VP of Universal Domestic Television Lisa Hackner is returning to Telepictures as senior VP of development, while Sheila Rosenbaum is coming aboard as VP of programming.

In her new post, Ms. Hackner will oversee all of Telepictures’ new program development for syndication and cable as well as working with David Auerbach, senior VP of programming, on network series development. Before Universal, she spent her entire career at Telepictures Productions, joining the company in 1990.

Ms. Rosenbaum most recently served as VP of development while at Universal Domestic Television.

“Lisa is one of the best and most creative programming executives in the business and as a key member of our team for some 13 years was truly integral to our success. I couldn’t be happier to have her back home again,” said Estey McLoughlin, executive VP and general manager, Telepictures Productions. “Sheila has a terrific reputation in the business and is a great new addition to our team. I look forward to working with her.”

Both executives left Universal after the company’s merger with NBC.
