Comedy Central has ordered a third and fourth season of the critically acclaimed Dave Chappelle vehicle “Chappelle’s Show,” the network announced Monday. The contract also includes a development deal for Mr. Chappelle to bring new ideas to the network.

“The success of the show has been phenomenal and overwhelming,” Mr. Chappelle said in a statement. “I’m looking forward to coming back to Comedy Central for a big finish and now I’m actually rich, bitch!”

“Chappelle’s Show” was recently nominated for three Emmy Awards and its first-season release on DVD has been the best-selling television video title of 2004.
