In New York, Maurice DuBois has officially joined Viacom-owned CBS station WCBS-TV in what had been a widely expected move in the New York market. He will co-anchor the noon news with Cindy Hsu and the 6 p.m. news with Dana Tyler starting Sept. 8. He had been with rival NBC-owned WNBC-TV in New York for seven years and co-anchored “Today in New York” at 5 a.m. most recently.
