Kyra Sedgwick (“Door to Door,” “Something to Talk About”) has been cast to play the lead role in TNT’s “The Closer,” a new pilot about a female deputy chief leading an elite division of the Los Angeles Police Department. “The Closer” is from The Shephard/Robin Company in association with Warner Bros. Television. “Nip/Tuck” producers Greer Shephard and Mike Robin will executive produce along with writer and executive producer James Duff (“The Agency”).
