VOICE-OVER, OTHER EMMY WINNERS ANNOUNCED

The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences last week announced the Emmy winners for outstanding voice-over performance, individual achievement in animation and outstanding costumes for a variety or music program. The voice-over Emmy was awarded to Dan Castellaneta as Homer, Krusty, Grampa, Willie, Barney and Mel in Fox’s animated series “The Simpsons,” for the episode “Today I Am a Clown.” The animation achievement Emmy was awarded to background stylist Seonna Hong for Nickelodeon’s animated series “My Life as a Teenage Robot,” for the episode “The Wonderful World of Wizzley.” The outstanding costumes Emmy went to costume designer Jef Billings and costume supervisor Regina Winters for this year’s Smucker’s “Stars on Ice.” The juried awards, which have no nominations, will be presented during the 2004 Creative Arts Awards on Sunday, Sept. 12, at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. n
