E! has renewed its plastic surgery reality series “Dr. 90210” for a second season, the network announced Tuesday. An undisclosed number of the half-hour weekly episodes has been ordered for a season debut in March.

“‘Dr. 90210’ has resonated very well with our audience and has found a home with E! and Style viewers with its compelling story lines and characters,” said Mark Sonnenberg, executive VP of entertainment. “Season two will be even more interesting as we venture even deeper into the real-life stories of these doctors, their colleagues and patients.”

E! credits the show with having improved its time slot, averaging 708,000 viewers per episode.
