Jonathan Taylor, television, home entertainment and radio editor for the Los Angeles Times, will join the Lippin Group, an international public relations consulting firm, Oct. 1 as a senior VP, Dick Lippin, chairman and CEO of the company, announced Tuesday.

“It is virtually impossible to find someone with the breadth of experience across the many platforms of the entertainment industry that Jonathan enjoys,” Mr. Lippin said.

Mr. Taylor will report to Mr. Lippin in his role at the firm’s Los Angeles headquarters, overseeing a range of projects involving the company’s corporate television and home entertainment clients, with some involvement in the company’s music division.

Mr. Taylor has worked for the Los Angeles Times for two years. He has also held several editorial positions with Variety, and served as an entertainment editor for the Los Angeles Daily News. He has worked as a media reporter for Bloomberg News, and as a music reporter and reviewer for the television show “Entertainment Tonight” and the radio show “Entertainment Coast-to-Coast.”
