WGA Chooses Gottlieb for VP

The membership of the Writers Guild of America, West elected Carl Gottlieb to VP, the guild announced Wednesday. Mr. Gottlieb received 1,150 ballots compared with 834 for challenger Dennis Feldman.

The results of the race for seats on the guild’s board of directors were also announced. Ron Bass, Ted Elliot, Aaron Mendelsohn, John Bowman, Craig Mazin, Larry Wilmore, David Weiss and Alex Sokoloff were elected to the board.

The results were from a Monday presidential election in which Daniel Petrie Jr. was chosen over challenger Eric Hughes to continue serving as president.
