Twentieth Television’s daytime news and entertainment talk show “Good Day Live” is searching for a “true New Yorker” to join the show as a guest correspondent, the show’s executive producers Lisa Kridos and Josh Kaplan announced Tuesday.

The show is encouraging anyone over the age of 18 who resides in the New York area to send in a one-minute submission on VHS or digital video showcasing their talent. “Good Day Live’s” producers will view the tapes for overall creativity, skill and personality.

Top submissions will be broadcast on the show to enable viewers to help select a candidate. The plan is for the new correspondent to make his or her debut in November.

“Good Day Live,” which is co-hosted by Steve Edwards, Debbie Matenopoulos and Arthel Neville, is produced for Small Cages Productions in association with Twentieth Television.
