Rainbow Media Enterprises, the programming and satellite operator unit slated to be spun off from parent Cablevision Systems later this year, on Friday named Joseph Lhota and John Adamovich as co-chief financial officers.

Both executives will report to Rainbow CEO Thomas Dolan. Mr. Lhota begins immediately, while Mr. Adamovich is expected to start his job in November.

Mr. Lhota joins Rainbow from Cablevision, where he was most recently executive VP of corporate administration and president of Lightpath, Cablevision’s business services unit. He will be responsible for the company’s finance, treasury and investor relations functions.

Mr. Adamovich will join the company from Pall Corp., where he was CFO of the filtration device manufacturer. His duties will focus on accounting and reporting, control and tax functions.

Rainbow consists of cable networks AMC, IFC and WE: Women’s Entertainment, as well as the fledgling high-definition satellite service Voom and the Clearview Cinemas movie theater chain.
