Robin Schwartz, president of Regency Entertainment, announced Thursday a restructuring of the studio’s creative team. Stephanie Levine, senior VP, will take on expanded responsibilities in development, while Andrea Shay will join the company as VP. All three will handle comedy and drama development as well as current programming.

Ms. Levine is being promoted from senior VP, creative affairs, for the studio. She joined Regency near its inception and has worked on “Malcolm in the Middle” and “The Bernie Mac Show.” Before joining Regency, she handled development and current programming at Touchstone Television.

Ms. Shay comes to the studio from the Fox network, where she was a director of current programming, mostly focusing on comedies. She has also worked at Lifetime.

Ms. Klein was most recently VP, series television, at Lions Gate Entertainment. She also spent two years in strategic planning at Touchstone, having started her career as an equities analyst at Goldman Sachs and Co.

Stacy Fung has also joined Regency as manager in the department. Ms. Fung joined Regency from Ben Stiller’s Red Hour Films.
