VH1 Picks Up ‘Surreal Life’ With a Side of ‘Strange Love’

VH1 has ordered a fourth season of “The Surreal Life,” along with seven new series, including “Strange Love,” featuring Brigitte Nielsen and Flavor Flav, who met in the third season of “Surreal Life.” Both series are executive produced by Mark Cronin and Cris Abrego and will debut in January.

Other new VH1 series are “Motormouth,” starting Oct. 26, a hidden-camera show that looks for bad singers and drivers; “Redlight — Greenlight,” Nov. 17, which reviews recent movies, music and TV shows; “My Coolest Years,” December, featuring musicians recalling high school memories; “Remaking,” January, which looks to give a music star from the past a personal and career makeover; “Celebrity Fit Club,” January, in which eight celebrities try to lose weight; and “Kept,” spring, in which Jerry Hall searches for a young bachelor who wants to live with her in the lap of luxury.
