Mel Gibson’s Icon Productions has formally created a television wing of the company, Icon TV, and made its current television executive, senior VP Nancy Cotton, the division’s new president.

Icon had all three of its pilots picked up as series this season–“Complete Savages” at ABC, “Kevin Hill” at UPN and “Clubhouse” at CBS-and is developing for 2005-06.

Ms. Cotton was formerly a senior VP at Mandalay Television. She has also worked at ABC in the network’s current department.
