NBC is benching its animated comedy “Father of the Pride” and CBS is pulling medical drama “dr. vegas” off its schedule for the November sweeps period.

NBC still has six unaired episodes of the DreamWorks Television show, which could return in December. “Pride” is being preempted on Tuesdays at 9 p.m. (ET) in November with election coverage and three 90-minute episodes of the reality series “The Biggest Loser.”

CBS announced Tuesday Warner Bros. Television’s ‘dr. vegas,’ which airs Fridays at 10 p.m. (ET), was being pulled for repeats “Without a Trace,” “CSI,” and “CSI: Miami.” Friday, Dec. 3 CBS has scheduled the special “Ice Wars” and has left the time period “TBA” for the rest of December.

A Warner Bros. spokesperson said there is no official network cancellation of the show, which is currently wrapping up production on its ninth episode.
