Nina Tassler, president of CBS Entertainment, and Brad Moore, president of Hallmark Hall of Fame Productions, announced Monday the two companies are extending their agreement to produce dramatic specials through May 2008 under a new three-year deal.

The 2004-05 season marks the tenth season that CBS has been the exclusive home of the Hallmark Hall of Fame.

The inaugural presentation of the Hallmark Hall of Fame-now in its 54th season- was “Amahl and the Night Visitors” on Dec. 24, 1951. The series has earned a record 78 Emmy Awards along with 10 Peabody Awards and nine Golden Globes. Historically, the Hallmark Hall of Fame broadcasts have been carried on the CBS, NBC and ABC networks, but since 1995 they have been broadcast exclusively on CBS.
