NBC Universal Domestic Television Distribution announced Tuesday it was pulling the plug on its reality makeover show “Home Delivery.”

“Everyone from the hosts through the entire production team at ‘Home Delivery’ produced a very strong program that we are all very proud of,” the company said in a statement. “Unfortunately, the long-term economics of this show did not justify us moving forward.”

NBC Universal said original episodes will be produced for November and February sweeps, and then a mix of originals and repeats will fill out the remainder of the season.

The show premiered the week ended Sept. 19 with a 0.9 household rating, according to Nielsen Media Research. For the week ended Oct. 24 the show averaged a 1.1 household rating. In the metered markets “Home Delivery” scored a 1.1 household rating for the week ended Oct. 31, down 27 percent from its year-ago time period average of 1.5.
