‘Oprah’ Cleared in 80 Percent of the Country Through 2011

Roger King, CEO of CBS Enterprises and King World Productions, announced Thursday that “The Oprah Winfrey Show” has been renewed through the 2010-2011 season on stations covering more than 80 percent of the country.

Stations renewing represent groups such as Scripps Howard, Media General and Dispatch. Individual stations renewing include WJLA-TV (Washington, D.C.), WXYZ-TV (Detroit), WFLA-TV (Tampa), WEWS-TV (Cleveland) and WTHR-TV (Indianapolis).

The ABC O&Os, as well as stations from groups such as Viacom, Hearst-Argyle, Belo, Cox, Allbritton, Emmis, Post-Newsweek and Clear Channel have already renewed with King World.
