National Lampoon Inc. and Atlas Worldwide Syndications & Distributions announced Monday their co-produced reality courtroom television series “Eye for an Eye” has signed Kato Kaelin as host.

Mr. Kaelin, who became a household name during O.J. Simpson’s murder trial, comes aboard for the show’s third season.

“Eye for an Eye” features Judge Akim “Extreme Akim” Anastopoulo, who sentences his litigants to “paybacks” with punishment. Anastopoulo, a former state prosecutor in South Carolina, appears alongside bailiff Sugar Ray Phillips, a former middleweight world boxing champion.

“Eye for an Eye” began airing in January 2003. For the show’s third season, Atlas Worldwide has cleared about 70 percent of the country. In partnership with National Lampoon, “Eye for an Eye” will shift to a strip in September 2005.
