New Line Promotes Kroll, Keller, Hires Levin and Cristall

New Line Television announced Thursday the company has promoted Jon Kroll to executive VP, hired Sydney Levin as VP of alternative programming and promoted Jaret Keller to manager of East Coast TV development. Additionally, the company has hired development executive Erin Cristall as manager of alternative programming.

A producer of the series “The Amazing Race,” Mr. Kroll joined New Line Television in 2003. Since his arrival he has overseen the company’s UPN reality series “Amish in the City” as well as the recently completed CBS series “A Nightmare on Elm Street: Real Nightmares.” Mr. Kroll also produced three seasons of “Big Brother” for CBS.

Ms. Levin will develop shows and function as supervising producer on select projects. Her past credits include “Amish in the City,” “America’s Next Top Model,” “Big Brother” and “The Bachelor.” She previously worked as an associate producer at CNN and as manager of original programming for Turner Original Productions. She is based in New Line’s Los Angeles office.

Ms. Cristall joins New Line from A. Smith & Co., where she worked as a manager of development.

The New York-based Mr. Keller has worked at New Line for the past two years but previously served as an associate producer for MTV2’s $2 Bill concert series and worked on “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire.”
