Telepictures’ “The Tyra Banks Show” has been cleared on Portland, Ore.’s, KGW-TV. The Belo-owned NBC affiliate will begin airing ‘Tyra’ in the 24th-largest media market starting in fall 2005, according to the syndicator and the station.

“Tyra,” a one-hour talk strip that will feature model and reality show host Tyra Banks, will replace Buena Vista’s “The Tony Danza Show,” which currently airs at 10 a.m. (PT) weekdays.

A Buena Vista spokeswoman said she was “confident ‘The Tony Danza Show’ will find another home in Portland, and we expect a number of renewals in quite a few markets over the next coming months.”

“The Tyra Banks Show,” produced by Ms. Bank’s Bankable Incorporated & Handprint Entertainment in association with Telepictures Productions, is distributed by Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution.
