Bair Named MSG Networks President

Michael Bair on Thursday was named president of Cablevision’s MSG Networks, effective Feb. 1. Mr. Bair, currently senior VP of marketing and business operations for the New York Rangers, will be responsible for the strategic direction and operational and financial performance of the Madison Square Garden Networks, including MSG Network, FSN New York, MSG Radio, GardenVision and MSG New Media.

Mr. Bair launched SportsChannel Bay Area for Cablevision. He was promoted to executive VP of sports for Rainbow Media, where he oversaw SportsChannel’s eight regional sports networks. Additionally, Mr. Bair served as president of product management and marketing for Cablevision’s cable division, where he was responsible for product strategy, programming, marketing and advertising and brand management for video, voice and online services.
