David Bernath is leaving BBC America to join Comedy Central as senior VP of programming, replacing Kathryn Mitchell, who is leaving the network to become general manager of BBC America. Mr. Bernath had been VP of programming at BBC America. BBC America is headed by Bill Hilary, who left Comedy Central after Doug Herzog returned to the network as president last year.
