Bravo has ordered a six-episode, one-hour unscripted series starring comedienne Kathy Griffin, the network announced Monday. “Kathy Griffin: Life on the D-List” will document Ms. Griffin’s life as a stand-up comic.

“I think it’s wonderfully ironic that Kathy Griffin, the ultimate reality TV fanatic, now has her own unscripted series,” said Bravo President Lauren Zalaznick. “Her cutting commentary on Hollywood and celebrity culture made for a very successful stand-up act and comedy special for Bravo. I’m confident the series will be every bit as entertaining.”

The series has been ordered from Picture This Television, which also produces Bravo’s “Celebrity Poker Showdown.”
