Litton Entertainment announced Thursday it has cleared its new weekly half-hour series “The World Explorer” in 15 of the top 30 markets for a fall 2005 debut. Clearances include WABC-TV in New York; WSB-TV in Atlanta; WFTV-TV in Orlando, Fla.; WSOC-TV in Charlotte, N.C.; and WWL-TV in New Orleans. “World Explorer,” which is hosted by Explorer Club President Richard Wiese and which will be shot around the world, is available on a straight 3.5/3.5 barter basis.

Litton Entertainment also announced it is working with Seattle-based Fuel Media to jointly launch “HomeTeam,” an hour-long weekly series hosted by former “Apprentice” contestant Troy McClain.

In each episode Mr. McClain surprises someone with a down payment and an entire year’s mortgage for a first home. Litton is offering 26 episodes of “HomeTeam” on a 7/7 barter basis.
