Paramount Clears ‘Enterprise’ for Weekly Run

Paramount Domestic Television has cleared the off-net weekly one-hour “Star Trek: Enterprise” in more than 90 percent of the country for fall 2005. Mark Dvornik, executive VP and general sales manager of the division, made the announcement Wednesday.

The latest incarnation of the “Star Trek” franchise, which currently airs on UPN, has been sold to 49 of the top 50 markets. Key clearances include WNBC-TV in New York, KNBC-TV in Los Angeles, WCVB-TV in Boston, WSB-TV in Atlanta, WXYZ-TV in Detroit, KTRK-TV in Houston and WISH-TV in Indianapolis, as well as the NBC- and ABC- owned-and-operated stations and stations from the Viacom Station Group, Cox, Scripps-Howard, Sinclair, Tribune, Emmis, Hearst, LIN, Raycom, Pegasus and Clear Channel.
