Tribune Entertainment Co. and DIC Entertainment signed a major new agreement in which Tribune Entertainment will distribute DIC Kids Network, the companies said Friday. Under terms of the agreement, Tribune Entertainment will be responsible, effective immediately, for domestic syndication of DIC Kids Network, a three-hour programming block designed to meet core FCC guidelines in children’s programming. Tribune will also continue to exclusively represent all domestic barter sales for the network through 2008. DIC Kids Network, launched in September 2003, reaches 100 percent of U.S. markets and airs on more than 450 stations.
