Turner Broadcasting is negotiating to buy the rights to “Ed” from NBC Universal Studios. If the transaction is completed, the show, starring Tom Cavanaugh, would become part of TBS’s daytime lineup. “Ed” aired on NBC from 2000 to 2003. Neither NBC nor TBS would comment on the talks.
