Brooke Bowman has been promoted to VP of programming and development at ABC Family, the network announced Wednesday. Ms. Bowman will oversee scripted and reality series.

“Brooke is a dynamic creative executive who has been instrumental in developing our originals coming in 2005,” said Kate Juergens, senior VP of original series programming and development. “The channel’s ratings growth is building a strong platform to launch our originals this year.”
