‘Danza’ Gets Upgrade in Chicago

Buena Vista Television talk strip “The Tony Danza Show” will have a daytime slot in Chicago starting in fall 2005.

“Danza,” which currently airs on ABC owned-and-operated station WLS-TV in an overnight time slot, will move to noon (CT) on NBC Universal O&O WMAQ-TV when the show begins its second season in the fall.

The show, which has been cleared in more than 80 percent of the country, is produced by Riverward Productions and executive produced by John Redmann. “Danza” is distributed by Buena Vista Television.
