Katzenberg, Iger, Allen Among NCTA Speakers

Vulcan Chairman Paul Allen, DreamWorks co-founder Jeffrey Katzenberg and Walt Disney Co. President Robert Iger are among the speakers slated for the National Cable & Telecommunications Association conference. Organizers announced the speaker list Tuesday for the conference, scheduled for April 3-5 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

“The unprecedented lineup of general session speakers at this year’s National Show features many of the individuals directly responsible for spurring America’s broadband revolution,” said Stephen Burke, chief operating officer of Comcast Corp. and chairman of this year’s National Show.

Other speakers include Thomas Rutledge, chief operating officer of Cablevision Systems; Jerry Yang, co-founder and chief yahoo of Yahoo; John Chambers, president and CEO of Cisco Systems; Jonathan Miller, chairman and CEO of America Online; Brian Roberts, president and CEO of Comcast Corp.; Eric Schmidt, chairman & CEO of Google; Glenn Britt, chairman and CEO of Time Warner Cable; Rob Glaser, chairman and CEO of RealNetworks; Len Lauer, president and chief operating officer of Sprint Corp.; James Robbins, president and CEO of Cox Communications; Jeffrey Bewkes, chairman of the Entertainment & Network Group of Time Warner; Peter Chernin, president and chief operating officer of News Corp.; and Robert Wright, Chairman and CEO, NBC Universal.
