USA Teams With Yahoo for ‘Nashville Star’ Promotion

USA Network has struck a deal with Yahoo Music to promote the third season of the talent-search reality show “Nashville Star.” Yahoo will host the “Nashville Star” Web site and provide footage of the contestants and clips from the show.

“Teaming up with Yahoo Music is a clear advantage for USA,” said Chris McCumber, senior VP of marketing and brand strategy for USA Network. “It allows us to extend the ‘Nashville Star’ brand across Yahoo’s massive user base.”
