Patrick Younge has been named executive VP and general manager for Travel Channel, the cable network announced Wednesday. He replaces Rich Rodriguez, who left last year.

Mr. Younge will be responsible for all programming, production, development and operations for the network. He has been head of programs and planning for BBC Sport since 2001.
