ESPN has created a unique new internship named for Tim Nesvig, an ad sales account executive who died last month after a battle with cancer.
The Tim Nesvig ad sales interns will spend six weeks at ESPN, two weeks at Fox, where Mr. Nesvig’s father, Jon Nesvig, is president of sales, two weeks at ad agency Wieden + Kennedy and two weeks at media buyer Carat.
The late Mr. Nesvig called on Carat and Wieden + Kennedy for ESPN.
“We hope to have bright young men and women who want to be known as a Tim Nesvig intern,” said Ed Erhardt, president of ESPN ABC Sports Customer Marketing and Sales. This internship will “keep his name alive in our business.”
