Ken Ferree, who recently stepped down as chief of the Federal Communications Commission’s Media Bureau, has been hired as the Corporation for Public Broadcasting’s executive VP and chief operating officer, starting March 29.

“Everything CPB is involved in I’ll be involved in,” Mr. Ferree said in a telephone interview.
