More than 600 media buyers and planners attended the Syndicated Network Television Association’s annual Syndication Day in New York on Thursday.
SNTA President Mitch Burg delivered a “state of syndication” presentation that discussed syndication’s growth in ratings and revenues, made comparisons to prime-time broadcast and cable ratings and noted that ad copy for syndicated shows can be switched in two to three days, as with other electronic media.
A cocktail reception this afternoon is expected to feature syndication stars including Tyra Banks, Kiefer Sutherland, Regis Philbin, Kelly Ripa, Ellen DeGeneres and Tim Green.
