FCC Chairman Martin Pulls Out of NAB Speaking Engagement

Federal Communications Commission Chairman Kevin Martin has bailed out of a commitment to speak at the National Association of Broadcasters convention in Las Vegas.

An NAB source said the agency’s new Republican chairman cited “personal reasons.” His Tuesday morning slot has been filled with a panel that will include veteran journalists Sam Donaldson, Jeff Greenfield and Charles Osgood.
