Fuse has announced launch plans for two new shows and is developing four additional shows for fourth quarter 2005/first quarter 2006, the network said Friday.

“Metal Asylum,” a request show featuring VJ Juliya, premieres May 9, and “Hip Hop Confidential,” hosted by VJ Marianela, features music and information about big and upcoming acts. The show also features a weekly newsletter e-mailed and text-messaged to fans.

In development are “Fuse Video Remix”; “Loose Lips,” a trivia show; “Love Shuffle,” a dating show based on MP3 playlists; and “Mad Dash to the Music Stash,” which leads viewers on a scavenger hunt for memorabilia.
