Former “Today” supervising producer Chris Sheridan began work Monday as executive producer for “World News Now” and “World News This Morning,” ABC News’ overnight news programs. The broadcasts, anchored by Ron Corning and Heather Cabot, air from 2-5 a.m. (ET) weekdays. Mr. Sheridan also will coordinate overnight production of news segments for “Good Morning America.”

Mr. Sheridan was a supervising producer for “Today” in 2002-03 and earlier had served as senior producer for MSNBC’s “The News With Brian Williams” (a position in which he won an Emmy in 2000) and “Morning Line.”
