Speed Buys Auto-Themed Flicks From Warner Bros.

Speed Channel today said it bought 18 movies from Warner Bros. Domestic Cable Distribution and plans to revive its “Lost Drive-In” franchise.

The automotive-themed movies from the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s will begin airing over the Thanksgiving weekend.

Titles include: “Any Which Way You Can,” “Bullitt,” “Corvette Summer,” “Freebie and the Bean,” “The Getaway,” “A Man and a Woman,” “Stroker Ace” and “Viva Knievel!” “Lost Drive-In” hasn’t been part of the Speed lineup since 2002.
