‘All My Children,’ ‘Reading Rainbow’ Top Daytime Craft Emmys

ABC’s “All My Children” and public broadcasting’s “Reading Rainbow” earned four Emmys each to lead the list of honorees at Saturday’s 32nd Annual Creative Craft Daytime Emmy Awards ceremonies, held simultaneously in New York and Los Angeles and presented by the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

Taking home three Emmys each were CBS’s “As the World Turns,” the syndicated “The Ellen DeGeneres Show” and “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and PBS’s “Sesame Street.” Picking up two each were public broadcasting’s “Jakers! The Adventures of Piggley Winks,” the syndicated “Live With Regis and Kelly,” ABC’s “One Life to Live” and CBS’s “The Bold and the Beautiful.”

Daytime Emmy Awards in 17 additional categories, primarily for performances and programs, including the Lifetime Achievement Award, will be presented at the 32nd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards on Friday, May 20 (9-11 p.m., ET), to be aired on CBS.
