Ending a long standoff, Cablevision Systems’ Madison Square Garden Networks and Time Warner Cable said on Monday they reached a multiyear agreement that immediately returns MSG Network, Fox Sports Net New York and the three Fox Sports digital networks to Time Warner Cable customers in the New York City area and upstate New York. Terms weren’t disclosed. The agreement was finalized during an all-day session, with New York State Attorney General Eliot Spitzer involved in ending the blackout. MSG Network and Fox Sports Net New York were expected to be returned to Time Warner Cable systems in time for Monday night’s New York Mets game versus the Chicago Cubs.
