ABC News said Monday it has agreed to a multiyear renewal of its agreement to offer video-on-demand content and the live 24/7 news channel ABC News Now to MobiTV, which provides live TV on mobile phones through carriers including Sprint, Cingular and international carriers to more than 1 billion mobile and handset subscribers worldwide.

ABC News Now will provide MobiTV subscribers live coverage of events from around the world, hourly news briefs, original programs such as “Politics Live,” “Top Priority” and “Tattle Tales,” in addition to segments from top-rated ABC News programs.

On-demand programming will include clips from “World News Tonight With Peter Jennings,” and “Good Morning America,” as well as short-format clips of “Early Morning Business Report” and “Daily Dish,” an entertainment roundup. “Bill Diehl’s Movie Review” will also be offered on-demand each week.
