HBO is moving “Six Feet Under,” a spokesman for the network confirmed.

Starting next week, the series will anchor the network’s Sunday originals lineup at 9 p.m., followed by “Entourage” and “The Comeback.” “Six Feet Under,” which is in its fifth and final season, traditionally aired on Sunday night, but was moved to Monday for the new season. The most recent episode was seen by 2.2 million viewers, down from its previous season average of 3.7 million.

“‘Six Feet Under’ did triple the time-period audience Monday night, but our research has shown that only 1 percent of our subscribers were aware of ‘Six Feet Under’ premiering,” spokesman Jeff Cusson said.
