NBC Universal turned to one of its station ad sales executives for its new head of cable entertainment sales. Mark Miller, who was executive VP of national sales for the NBC Universal Television Stations, was named senior VP of NBC Universal Cable Entertainment Sales, effective July 18.

Mr. Miller replaces Jeff Lucas, who moved to Comedy Central in May. After Mr. Lucas’ departure, NBC’s cable sales efforts were headed by Mr. Lucas’ lieutenant, Mike Tedone.

Rich Cerussi, VP of sales for KNTV, the NBC Universal-owned television station in San Francisco, succeeds Mr. Miller as executive VP, national sales organization, for the NBC Universal Television Stations.
