Monte Carlo Television Festival Announces Nominees

Monte Carlo Television Festival officials announced Monday the star-studded international lineup for the 45th annual gala, taking place in Monaco and including talent from top U.S. series.

Matthew Fox of “Lost” and Marcia Cross of “Desperate Housewives” will attend the festival June 26-July 1, along with fellow cast members and performers from “Law & Order,” “Law & Order: SVU,” “24,” “Scrubs,” “Numb3rs,” “Six Feet Under,” “Days of Our Lives,” “The Young and the Restless,” “Days of Our Lives,” “The Inside” and “Arrested Development.”

The stars will attend events and press conferences and appear at screenings and participate in the Golden Nymph Award ceremony July 1.

Festival officials also revealed the U.S. nominees for drama and comedy series, which include “Sopranos,” “The West Wing,” “Six Feet Under,” “Scrubs,” “Arrested Development” and “Will & Grace.”

The six-day festival features an international television program competition and an award ceremony, premiere screenings and several receptions.
