Keli Lee has been promoted to executive VP of casting for ABC Entertainment Television Group. The announcement was made Wednesday by Stephen McPherson, president of ABC Entertainment, and Mark Pedowitz, president of Touchstone Television.

Ms. Lee oversees all prime-time casting for both ABC and Touchstone Television, including non-ABC shows. She replaces Gene Blythe, who recently retired from the position. Previously Ms. Lee was senior VP with the company, a position she held since 2003. She joined ABC Entertainment in New York in 1991 and was named associate director of casting, prime time, East Coast, in 1994.

Ms. Lee is also involved in the company’s diversity efforts. In partnership with the ABC Talent Development Programs, she produces the Casting Project Actors Showcase series.
