CBS News and Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) have announced a multi-year extension of their longstanding newsgathering relationship.

In the agreement announced Thursday, TBS gets exclusive access to CBS News programs and news coverage, including more than 300 stories daily from the CBS Newspath feed for affiliates and access to the Newspath News Center in New York. The deal provides for worldwide cooperation between the two news organizations. CBS News also receives access to TBS’s coverage.

TBS and CBS News also host one another’s bureaus in Tokyo and New York and jointly cover major stories.
